The USAID Mission in Lusaka, Zambia is offering a grant to local organizations aimed at eliminating gender-based violence by improving access to justice for survivors. The STOP GBV Access to Justice Program focuses on capacity building for GBV service providers, policymakers, police, courts, and community leaders to enhance GBV case management. The grant also includes providing legal aid to survivors to ensure successful court cases. Applications are restricted to qualified local organizations, aligned with the Government of the Republic of Zambia’s goal of combating GBV through a comprehensive approach. Closing date for applications is February 20, 2012.
