The USAID’s West Africa Cotton Partnership Program aims to support smallholder men and women cotton farmers in the C-4 countries by promoting sustainable agricultural productivity, partnerships, and benefits for women. This initiative is a response to concerns raised at the 2003 WTO meetings and reflects the USG’s commitment to reducing poverty and hunger in West Africa. By collaborating with national and regional institutions, the program seeks to disseminate Good Agricultural Practices and enhance sustainable agricultural growth in the region.
